To use the Kingston 4gb microSDHC TF memory card in your DS / DSi and now DSi XL you need a R4 Adapter. It is not as simple as that either. When you buy a R4/R4i adapter it cannot be used without a micro SDHC card. A Kingston microSDHC 4GB is recommended and perfect. Thats why it states "for" in the title discription. A TF card reader too is needed if you dont all ready have one.A tutorial is avalible in english on you tube. Just search for R4 DS. Hope some of this helps
